Features of the Cherry Bomb Cut:

• Retains the smooth, semi-circular ghost cut on the right side for clean front-end yelps and kee-kee runs.

• Incorporates fang-style slit on the left side, adding sharp rasp and bite to the call.

• The combination creates a unique air channeling effect, allowing for both crisp whistles and deep, throaty rasp when needed.

• Sound Profile:

• Kee-kee runs and whistles come through clean and natural, thanks to the “ghost cut gap”

• The fang-style side slit provides extra rasp and volume for aggressive yelps and cutts.

• Soft calling, such as purrs and tree yelps, remains controlled and natural with light air pressure.

• Usage:

• Versatile across all turkey sounds—from soft, high-pitched kee-kees to raspy, excited yelps and cutts.

• Can be blown softly for finesse work or pushed hard for aggressive calling.

I designed the CherryBomb to be the black sheep of the BGB series of calls. The two layers of prophylactic latex give this call a bigger punch and that of an all latex call. It was also the first call in my line that as a prototype called in a Tom on its first ever trip into the spring woods.
